After over a decade of writing songs for bands, this Melbourne-based Americana singer and songwriter has finally decided to go solo and perform under her own name.

Joined by her full band The Restless Few, Wren will release her first solo album This Love Will Die in 2024.

Having started her songwriting and performing journey in Americana outfit The Heggarties, Wren ended up becoming their principal songwriter and singer. The band released an EP and a self-titled album which debuted at #3 on the iTunes Country Chart in 2016 and led to them travelling to Nashville, Tennessee in 2016 and 2018 to showcase at the Americana Festival.

Back home they performed at the 2018 Tamworth Country Music Festival and by the end of that year, they won the People’s Choice Award for Best Country Act at the South Australia Music Awards.

Wren left the band in early 2019 and in September of that year started her own group Wren & The Restless Few, entering the studio the same year to begin recording This Love Will Die.

After several big and emotional years in Adelaide, Wren made the decision to move back to Melbourne in 2022 and has since put together a great new lineup of talented musicians for the Victorian incarnation of The Restless Few.
