Gritty Roots and Global Ambitions: Waylon Wyatt Announces “Everywhere Under The Sun” 2026 Tour
By Christian Lamitschka for Country Music News International Magazine
The meteoric rise of Waylon Wyatt is a testament to the power of a blue-collar work ethic and a “barstool folk” sound that rings true. Today, the 19-year-old Hackett, Arkansas native announced his most ambitious touring schedule yet: the “Everywhere Under The Sun” tour.
Kicking off this April in New Braunfels, Texas, at the legendary Gruene Hall, Wyatt will spend the spring and summer headlining key markets across North America. The tour marks a significant shift for the young artist, who will be balancing headlining dates with major festival appearances and a highly anticipated support slot for folk-country standout Sam Barber.
From Construction Sites to the Global Stage
Waylon Wyatt’s story is the stuff of country music lore. Growing up in Arkansas, Wyatt began writing songs after long days working construction with his father. He recorded his debut EP, Til The Sun Goes Down, in the rec room of his childhood home—a project that has since exploded to over 225 million streams, earning RIAA Gold certifications for the hits “Arkansas Diamond” and “Jailbreak.”
After a 2025 defined by career-altering sets at Stagecoach and opening for Zach Bryan at London’s Hyde Park, Wyatt has been named one of VEVO’s 2026 DSCVR Artists to Watch. This designation signals his transition from a “homegrown” secret to a global force in the Red Dirt and Americana scenes.
Previewing the Debut Album
For fans attending the upcoming shows, the “Everywhere Under The Sun” tour offers a first look at Wyatt’s debut full-length album, set to drop this summer.
“Can’t wait to be out on the road with the band again,” says Wyatt. “Been tryna get an album built up and I’ll definitely be trying some of them out at these shows… we’re gonna be moving different this year.”
