From 5 Billion Streams to Headliner: Vincent Mason Major Outbreak Tour Supporting Debut Album
By Christian Lamitschka for Country Music News International Magazine
Rising country music star Vincent Mason is cementing his status as one of the genre’s most exciting new voices by announcing his headlining Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents: Vincent Mason There I Go. The tour, which kicks off in January 2026, joins Mason with an impressive lineage of former Outbreak artists who went on to become major headliners, including Morgan Wallen, Kane Brown, and Cole Swindell.
The announcement comes during a landmark year for the 24-year-old Georgia native, whose debut album, There I Go (out November 7 via Interscope/MCA Nashville/Music Soup), is setting the stage for his nationwide trek. The highly anticipated tour will bring Mason’s dynamic live show to fans across the country, with stops planned in major markets like Dallas, Nashville, New York City, and Boston.
“I can’t wait to get back on the road and headline the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour now that we can play songs off the debut album,” Mason shared. “Playing shows after putting out new music has always been one of my favorite parts of what I do, and I can’t think of a better way to start the year.”
Tickets for the “There I Go” tour go on sale this Wednesday, October 29th, at 10 AM local time via www.vincentmasonmusic.com.
New Music and A Glimpse of the Album
To build excitement for the upcoming album and tour, Mason recently released “Little Miss,” a single he calls his “favorite track” from the debut record. Co-written by Mason with Chase McDaniel, Ryan Beaver, and Jared Keim, the song is an imagery-driven track that captures the spark and charm of instant, wondrous attraction. The track provides a perfect example of Mason’s signature blend of Southern grit and introspective storytelling.
There I Go is the culmination of three years of intensive work, collaboration, and refinement. Mason, known for his unique musical blend, has already amassed over 360 million streams across platforms, proving his ability to craft songs that resonate immediately with a mass audience.
Vincent Mason: The Making of an Outlaw Storyteller
Growing up in Roswell, Georgia, Mason’s musical foundation was built on diverse influences—from the supple confessionals of singer-songwriters like John Mayer and Jack Johnson to the pop sensibilities of Maroon 5.
It wasn’t until college that he discovered the world of Texas country and the music of Parker McCollum, who was “singing Texas country music with John Mayer-style songwriting.” This discovery sparked Mason’s direction. He dropped out of school and began to forge a songwriting style informed by:
-
The intimacy of the music he grew up with.
-
The storytelling and darkness found in outlaw country.
-
A strong penchant for big hooks that make even painful themes sound appealing.
His talent caught the ear of Jake Gear, a producer, publisher, and A&R who has worked with industry heavyweights like Morgan Wallen, Luke Bryan, and Carrie Underwood. Over the next three years, Gear and Mason, along with songwriters and producers like Brett Truitt and Chris LaCorte, honed the 14 tracks that make up There I Go. The album finds Mason navigating the emotional landscape of bars, searching for love, embracing the pain of near-misses, and plumbing the depths of loneliness on the road—a mature debut that balances nuance with undeniable radio-ready hooks.
The hard work is clearly paying off. Mason has enjoyed significant success with hits like:
-
“Hell is a Dancefloor” (RIAA Gold certified with 150M cross-platform streams).
-
“Wish You Well” (21M cross-platform streams).
-
“Damned If I Do” (27M cross-platform streams).
This year alone, he has played major festivals including Stagecoach, Calf Fry, and Rock the South, and toured in support of stars such as Riley Green, Parker McCollum, Jordan Davis, and Luke Bryan.
