Singer-Songwriter Tyler Farr Releases “Hello Goodbye”

NASHVILLE, TN – Columbia Nashville newcomer Tyler Farr, heralded
as a “New Artist To Watch” by both Country Weekly and Roughstock, is
releasing his powerful new single, “Hello Goodbye.” The ballad of a man
facing the emotional road at the end of a relationship, “Hello Goodbye”
is a song that Tyler wrote following a real-life experience. “I caught
an ex-girlfriend of mine cheating on me, and the next day we (Kris
Bergsnes and Skip Black) wrote this song,” said Tyler. “Songwriting is
like therapy, and thanks to Kris, Skip and a few drinks, I got some good
counseling,” he laughed.

This Saturday Tyler will perform the song on the Grand Ole Opry. “One
of the things I love about country music is the songs are built on real
life experiences and events and I can’t think of a better place to play
this song than at the Opry,” said Tyler.

A native of Garden City, MO, Tyler’s love of country music was set
after going on the road with his step father, who played guitar for
George Jones. After two years at Missouri State on a vocal performance
scholarship, Tyler packed up his car and headed to Nashville. He got a
job at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge playing the 10 pm – 2 am shift.

From there, Tyler took the party on the road playing clubs all across
the southeast. He’s opened shows for artists including Miranda Lambert,
Jerrod Niemann, and Lee Brice, and spent a year on the road with Colt
Ford. “We’ve put a lot of miles on the van and we probably qualify for a
U-Haul endorsement.”
The hundreds of shows and thousands of miles on the road have added up
to a loyal fan base for Tyler. “What’s great now is I’m finally getting
to the point where people are starting to catch on and know my songs and
that is the best feeling in the entire world when you get someone.
“When a fan comes up to me after a show to say they had a good time,
then I’ve done my job.”
