British country-pop sensation Twinnie is once again proving her undeniable talent and captivating stage presence with the release of her compelling music video for “Worst Kind of Crush.” This bittersweet anthem, which masterfully blends heartache with high-energy pop-country, has taken on a whole new dimension with the stunning visual, premiering exclusively on Holler Country. The song’s raw emotion and infectious energy are perfectly captured in the video, solidifying Twinnie’s position as a formidable force in the modern music scene.

“Worst Kind of Crush,” released on February 7th, has already garnered significant attention, climbing the charts and securing airplay on BFBS Radio and being named “Single of the Week” on CountryLine Radio. The track’s poignant lyrics, “The worst kind of crush is us making out at midnight on New Year’s Eve / The worst kind of rush is us giving it up and you disappearing on me,” vividly portray the fleeting nature of romance and the lingering sting of unfulfilled passion.

The official music video, brought to life by Max Meets Music City, elevates the song’s emotional impact with breathtaking cinematography. Holler aptly describes the video’s aesthetic: “Now the song has an appropriately tongue-in-cheek video to go with it, as the castle of torture that she’s imprisoned herself in is brought to life as a 70s-style basement with heart-shaped balloons and pillows, and a landline for her to further torture herself with.” This clever juxtaposition of vulnerability and empowerment perfectly mirrors the song’s intensity, creating an unforgettable viewing experience.

Twinnie herself reveals the serendipitous nature of the video’s creation: “This video actually came together by accident. We were in the middle of a photo shoot when I thought, ‘We should film the video here.’ I called my friend to play the guy and the rest is history. We shot it in about 20 minutes. Usually, I love to dance in my videos, but for this one, I liked the simplicity of just sitting on the phone and telling the story…basically yelling at my ex. Let’s be honest, we’ve all been there, which makes this video so relatable.” This authenticity and relatability are cornerstones of Twinnie’s appeal, allowing her to connect with her audience on a deeply personal level.

Adding to the excitement surrounding “Worst Kind of Crush,” Twinnie has announced her highly anticipated Happy Hour Tour 2025, presented by JOY. Concerts and Holler Live.
