TIM MCGRAW BURNS UP THE WEST COAST ON THE
BROTHERS OF THE SUN TOUR
Nashville,
TN- July 17, 2012- Country icon Tim McGraw is on a mission to give fans their money’s worth and more on this summer’s Brothers of the Sun tour. McGraw wrapped up shows in Los Angeles and Oakland this past weekend to the delight fans and critics.
“McGraw’s
rugged voice was most impressive on his encore, which opened with an a cappella version of the unapologetic, yet wistful ‘The Cowboy In Me,’ before concluding with new single, ‘Truck Yeah,’ a sly novelty tune that had the audience fist pumping and singing along.” – Variety
“It’s a bold claim, but McGraw could and should be poised to reign as king of country music…” – OC Weekly
“McGraw’s
set, on the other hand, couldn’t have been more on-the-money, the pacing of it ideal, the range of it just right, from touching ballads like ‘Where the Green Grass Grows’ and a robust rendition of ‘Live Like You Were Dying’ to hearty good times in the heat with his final match-up in the encore, ‘I Like It, I Love It’ and the hard-rockin’ ‘Truck Yeah.’” – OC Register
McGraw
recently released his first single for Big Machine Records, “Truck Yeah,” which debuted at No. 22 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart and No. 25 on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck Chart, marking his highest solo chart debut ever. The track was written by Chris Lucas, Preston Brust, Danny Myrick, Chris Janson and produced by Byron Gallimore and McGraw.
The
Brothers of the Sun Tour with Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw continues this weekend in Denver, CO on 7/21 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. For a full list of tour dates, visit www.timmcgraw.com. |
