hosting the second of two sold-out headlining shows at Atlanta’s Wild
Bills (3/18 and 4/15) this weekend as the first artist to ever host
double capacity crowds. The Georgia native’s first date sold-out out in
hours, prompting the addition of Friday’s concert where every last
ticket was snatched ahead of the show totaling more than 9,000 fans.
in Atlanta is something I always look forward to,” said Thomas Rhett.
“But, to be asked to come back for a second night and for the fans to
sell out both nights ahead of the shows is pretty crazy to me. I’d be
lying if I pretended there wasn’t something special about Georgia
crowds…their energy was undeniable and I’m already looking forward to
figuring out when we can go back.”
Proving he’s a “package deal” (CBS This Morning) on
and off the road, Thomas Rhett recently earned a Billboard Music Award
nomination for “Top Country Song” for his 2x Platinum No. One “Die A
Happy Man,” which also nabbed an ACM Award for “Single Record of the Year” earlier this month. As “one of country’s perennial ‘next big things’” (Noisey),
Thomas Rhett’s new single “T-Shirt,” off his sophomore album TANGLED UP
(The Valory Music Co.), continues to escalade into the Top 15 at
Country Radio while simultaneously earning Top 10 status on the Top
Country Digital Songs chart this week. The multi-PLATINUM
singer/songwriter will perform on the upcoming American Country Countdown Awards before continuing as direct support for Jason Aldean’s SIX STRING CIRCUS TOUR.
