Multi-platinum country superstar, Thomas Rhett, has released a live album from a sold out show at Boston’s iconic ballpark.  Thomas Rhett Live From Fenway Park was recorded on July 19, 2025 before more than 35,000 fans and captures the heart and unparalleled energy that lit up the crowd as he performed hit after hit.  This concert was one of the largest outdoor shows of his summer tour, making it a milestone in his long career.  The grammy nominated singer songwriter has 20 number one songs to choose from and this seven song EP is packed with some of the best.

Make Me Wanna starts the album off with Rhett engaging the audience as the band heats up behind him.  Country pop swings out into the night while the crowd is quickly singing along to this Bee Gees inflected 2014 triple platinum, number one hit. Taken from his debut album, It Goes Like This, it has all the hallmarks that made it a huge radio hit.

He quickly moves into the platinum chart topper, Something About A Woman, a tune that features Teddy Swims, who appeared on the original recording.  With its soulful feel and sexy slide guitar, the song highlights how Thomas was not interested in marriage until he met his future wife and why that moment changed the direction of his life in a positive fashion.

The third song on the electrifying live album is a country rocker, She Had Me At Heads Carolina, that Thomas wrote for his pal, Cole Swindell.  He includes it in the night’s performance as a lively up-tempo driving tune while letting the band shine with electric fills, bursts of steel and strong background vocals.

The band on that momentous night was Chris Kimmerer on drums, Nathan Whitney on guitar, Whit Wright on steel guitar, the bass was handled by Travis Vance and Frank Houston plays keyboards and saxophone. Teddy Swims, Tucker Wetmore and the Castellows were special guests on the bill that evening.

Letter To Boston is a narrative delivered to the exuberant crush of fans as he lists just some of the events he has played at Fenway and around the Boston area, such as the House of Blues, TD Gardens and numerous bars and restaurants. His main point was this, “I have a lot of history in this city and I love you so much.”

Beautiful As You reached number two on the US charts, as Rhett asks his wife, “Why in the world did you choose me?”  The band slides through this dynamic composition with piano spelling out the languid feel, quickly joined by the group skillfully using the dynamics to emphasize the vocals.  The studio version was produced by Dan Huff and is from Rhett’s seventh album, About A Woman.

As he asks, “You got time for a couple more tonight?”, T-Shirt with its blazing guitar solo and country funk feel with a loping synth bass line lets Rhett’s unmistakable voice sing,  “Next thing I know you’re wearing my Tshirt right there, your hair messed up like a Guns -N-Roses video.”  This number one hit from 2016 has the crowd roaring in appreciation at the unforgettable concert.

Die A Happy Man, with its 10 million units sold, is the last song on the EP collection.  Rhett plays his Martin acoustic guitar from his chair, dedicating the final song to his wife, Lauren as lighters and cell phones light up the audience swaying to the love song.  Wearing a Boston Red Sox shirt, Rhett has the audience in the palm of his hand, leaving them with a chorus that the entire stadium sings to him.  A fitting moment for a memorable, historic show as he closes with, “My name is Thomas Rhett and I’ll be back.”

USA Today has called Rhett the Prince of Country Music for the feat of attaining eighteen number ones in just nine years.  Few country artists can compete with Rhett’s phenomenal success, only eclipsed by his humble heart and honest upbringing starting in Valdosta Georgia.  Thomas Rhett Live From Fenway Park is a tremendous topper to a mind-blowing career.
