Nashville,
TN – April 3, 2017 – Thomas Rhett was the top winner at last night’s
52nd Academy Of Country Music Awards, earning the honors of
Male Vocalist of the Year and
Song of the Year for his 3X PLATINUM, six-week chart-topping song “Die A Happy Man.”
“I don’t have a whole lot of words,” said Thomas Rhett. “I didn’t think
there was any way they were really calling my name either time.
Especially for Male Vocalist – everyone in that category shaped the
artist that I am. It is the most amazing award that I’ve ever received
in my whole existence.”
The ACMs aired live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, where Thomas Rhett gave an “epic” (Hollywood Life) performance of his brand new single “Craving You” along with Maren Morris. Billboard called the duet “one of the night’s highlights” while Rolling Stone
said the two “proved to be an addictive pairing.” The track is the lead
single from Rhett’s upcoming third studio album, following his PLATINUM
certified sophomore album TANGLED UP DELUXE (The Valory Music Co.).
While delighting fans with a taste of new music throughout sold-out
stops on his 2017 HOME TEAM TOUR, Thomas Rhett continues to usher in
capacity crowds with “one of the best Country concerts of the year” (Peoria Journal Star).
Joined by Kelsea Ballerini, Russell Dickerson and Ryan Hurd, multiple
sellouts have already prompted the addition of more shows. For more
