The Voice season 7 Champion Craig Wayne Boyd has his wheels spinning fast

The Voice season 7 Champion Craig Wayne Boyd has his wheels
spinning fast.
Since the Texas born, Nashville resident traditional country
rocker Craig Wayne Boyd won the finale of USA’s most popular TV music contest show,
he has been signed to Dot Records, released his first single “My Baby’s
Got A Smile On Her Face”, that debuted as a historically number one spot
on the charts, performed on the Grand Ole Opry and has a tour schedule that is
booked all the way into October.
Craig Wayne Boyd moved to Nashville in the early 2000s and
got signed to EMI as a songwriter. He also played gigs both locally and
nationally opening for big acts, but it was not until he entered the TV talent show
The Voice that the general music loving public started being seriously charmed
by his charismatic performances and soulful singing.
Some of his most memorable performances on The Voice are his
audition with “The Whiskey Ain’t Working”, a soft and emotional
“You Look So Good In Love”, the heart and spirit lifting “The
Old Rugged Cross” and a very refreshing version of Johnny Cash’s “I
Walk The Line”.
Besides touring, Craig Wayne Boyd is working on an album
that is going to be released during 2015.
