The Spinney Brothers Perform Benefit Concert for International Bluegrass Music Museum

The Spinney Brothers will kick off their first US tour this year with a benefit concert for the International Bluegrass Music Museum
in Owensboro, KY this Thursday, January 17th. When the band realized they had a couple of extra days available for travel, they immediately called the IBMM and offered their services for this very worthy cause. “We are huge supporters of the IBMM and its goal of preserving the history of bluegrass music,” stated Rick Spinney. “We couldn’t think of a better way for us to promote that cause than to offer to perform a concert to benefit the museum.”
The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. with wine and hors d’oeuvres served at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets
are $15 and may be purchased in advance by calling (270) 926-7891. Tickets may also be purchased in the museum’s gift shop, at the door on the night of the performance or by visiting the Bluegrass Museum online gift shop at www.bluegrassmuseum.org/store. Visit the Facebook Event Invitation here. |

The
new year brought The Spinney Brothers plenty of reason to celebrate but
no more than their Grammie Jordan who celebrated her 100th birthday on
January 5th. Allan and Rick spent the day with their Grammie, who just
happens to be their biggest fan, celebrating a life that no doubt has
had a very positive influence on the brother duo.
