The Last Song of Downday

DOWNDAY’s Sophomore Single “The Last Song” Lands on Music Row’s Most Added List

(Nashville,
TN)—Render Records Group DOWNDAY is proving to be one of the hottest
and fastest growing Country Rock bands in America. With an official
release date of February 11th, their powerful sophomore ballad, “The Last Song” landed on Music Row’s most added list this week amongst Rascal Flatts, Eric Church and Kip Moore.

“We are so thrilled with the response that radio has given us in such a
short period of time,” said DOWNDAY’s lead singer Rockey Jones. “We
can’t wait to meet every one of you in person on our radio tour!”

Working with platinum selling producer Steve Freeman and signed to Render Records, “The Last Song” is the first single from DOWNDAY’s sophomore album, After All These Years.  Already met with critical success, Roughstock reviews it with legendary comparisons:

“The
Last Song” is a powerful ballad from rising band Downday. Signed to
Render Records, the band showcases the ability to harmonize as strong as
some classic rock bands (The Eagles come to mind) while having the
Country storytelling of a band like Blackhawk
.”

The album is slated for release on May 26, 2014 and will feature Jonathan Cain from Journey on the title track.
