NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 11, 2016)
– T.G. Sheppard, a 21-time country chart-topper, will perform this
Wednesday, April 13 on “Music City Roots, Live From The Factory,” a
two-hour radio show (7:00-9:30pm CST) that revives the historic legacy
of live musical radio production in Nashville.. The show will also
feature performances by Wine Women & Song, The Glade City Ramblers
and Dustbowl Revival. Live from The Factory at Franklin in Franklin,
Tenn., “Music City Roots, Live From The Factory” showcases Nashville’s
astonishing music scene and its deep well of amazing and diverse talent,
from Country and Americana to more progressive interpreters of
tradition, through its “roots and branches” format that brings together
fans of different tastes and generations. There has never been a time of
greater variety, abundance and quality in Nashville’s creative
community, and MCR puts that talent on a worldwide stage.

“I’m excited about playing Music City Roots,” says and exited T.G.
Sheppard. “I happen to think it’s one of the greatest platforms for
music today.”

In addition to performances and interviews from the artists, “Music
City Roots, Live From The Factory” encourages collaboration with a
nightly jam where all musical guests embrace the spirit of Music City as
the collaborative epicenter of tradition and innovation. Nashville’s
legendary Keith Bilbrey is the announcer; Jim Lauderdale and other
leaders of the music community host the festivities.

Sheppard is also hitting the road in support of his latest album, Legendary Friends & Country Duets (see
dates below). The critically acclaimed project features collaborations
with some of the singer/songwriter’s closest friends, including George Jones, Willie Nelson, Conway Twitty, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Oak Ridge Boys, Crystal Gayle, Lorrie Morgan, and more, along with a duet with the late Merle Haggard on the track “Songman.”
