About Stephen Cochran Project:
Stephen Cochran was born in Pikeville, KY and raised in Nashville, TN. After the Recon Marine was left paralyzed from the waist down after combat injuries in Afghanistan, Cochran used a wheelchair for nine months. An experimental Kyphoplasty surgery by the Nashville VA returned him to an active lifestyle.
He started his music career as a solo singer-songwriter who charted country music radio hits with “Friday Night Fireside” and “Thinkin’ I’m Drinkin’” from his self-titled, critically-acclaimed debut album. Success continued with the single release of “Walmart Flowers,” followed by non-stop touring.
In 2011, Stephen was signed to Drive Music Nashville and formed the Stephen Cochran Project (SCP) with guitarist Mark Erhardt and bassist Ryan Byrne; more recent additions are Clint Maine on guitar and drummer Scotty Schultz.
SCP drives the country music brand into American culture wearing jeans, boots and a country-boy grin. The Stephen Cochran Project combines the electricity and beat that strikes a deep, rousing chord with fans worldwide.
