Nashville, Tennessee (June 24, 2011) – Big Machine Records’ country duo, Steel Magnolia (Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones), will make their debut on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! Monday, June 27 at 12/11pm CST. Fans can go online to www.steelmagnoliamusic.com now to vote on the new single that Jones and Linsey will world-premiere on Monday night.
“We’re really looking forward to visiting Kimmel for the first time,” said Jones. “We’ll be performing a new song off of our album, which our fans will help pick and can’t wait to sing it on the Bud Light stage!”
Steel Magnolia’s critically acclaimed, self-titled debut album was released January 11, 2011 and features hits like, “Keep On Lovin’ You,” “Just By Being You (Halo and Wings)” and “Last Night Again.” To date, they have received over a dozen industry nominations including CMA, ACM, ACA and most recently, a CMT nomination for Duo Video of the Year.
In addition, Steel Magnolia is on tour throughout the summer and was just announced as an opener on labelmate Reba’s fall tour beginning in October.
