Skylar Laine Blows Away “Heard It Through The Grapevine” On Idol

You might think that “American Idol’s” country girl would feel a little out of place on Soul night. But not so for Skylar Laine. Last night the contestants had to do two songs, a contemporary hit and a soul classic. Skylar blew away the judges with both of her tunes. Steven Tyler said he loved the wild side Skylar showed on “Heard It Through the Grapevine.” Tonight, another hopeful is sent home.
