South Jersey’s Sherry Lynn Sings for St. Jude
At WPUR Cat Country 107.3 Benefit Concert
Shares Event with Hit Songwriter Andy Gibson
(Monday, March12 Nashville, TN) Sherry Lynn, South Jersey’s own queen of country music, teamed up with hit songwriter Andy Gibson last Thursday evening, March 8, for St. Jude’s Partner in Hope fundraising concert.
Organized and promoted by WPUR Cat Country 107.3 and held in the ballroom of the Ramada Inn in Vineland, the event was hosted by WPUR’s program director, Joe Kelly.
Lynn, who headquarters in New Jersey, is currently ping-ponging between home and Nashville to put the finishing touches on her upcoming album. It is being produced by Ted Hewitt, best known for producing a series of No. 1 songs for country superstar Rodney Atkins. The album is due out early summer and will feature a duet with Crystal Gayle.
Rising star Andy Gibson, first gained public attention by co-writing the massive Jason Aldean-Kelly Clarkson hit, “Don’t You Want To Stay.” He, too, is recording in Nashville.
