Sarah Harris Receives 2013 IBMA Momentum Performance/Vocalist Award

Female Vocalist Sarah Harris Receives
2013 IBMA Momentum Performance/Vocalist Award Nomination
Nashville, TN (August 15, 2013) —  Trinity River Band’s lead vocalist, Sarah Harris
has received a 2013 International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA)
Momentum Award Nomination in the Performance/Vocalist category. Many
prominent figures in the music industry are calling her one of the
breakout new female vocalists including award-winning songwriter Larry Cordle who said, “Miss Sarah Harris is a fantastically gifted and emotional singer. I look for great things from this band.”
John Pennell who has
penned such hits as “Every Time You Say Goodbye,” “Too Late To Cry,”
“Foolish Heart,” and other Alison Krauss songs agreed saying, “In Sarah
Harris, they may have one of the most outstanding lead vocalists to
appear on the bluegrass, gospel, country scene in quite some time. And
she’s no slouch on the mandolin either.”
Sarah’s vocals certainly shine on tracks
from the band’s current album, “Today Don’t Look Like Rain” including
the first single, “Today It Don’t Look Like Rain” and the beautiful duet
“What Did I Ever Do” with Josh Williams.  Grammy award winning
singer-songwriter Carl Jackson served as Consulting
