Sara Simmons New Album, “OH, I NEED YOU,” Available February 24th

Bluegrass instrumentation and heartfelt Americana lyrics with a
splash of sass, that’s Sara Simmons’ unique ‘American Grass’ style, now
available on her new, full album, “Oh I Need You.” The official release
is this weekend on February 24, 2019 with pre-orders available now.

Simmons is honoring her country roots by releasing the new 12-track
collection on her grandmother’s birthday. The first single and
title-track is already receiving airplay around the world.

The infectious, toe-tapping “Oh, I Need You” does bring a hopeful,
uplifting spirit to Sara’s yearning vocals. “I want to give the listener
a safe place to fall in love again with songs that are refreshingly
honest, making people smile and move them. I want to be a light shining
in a dark place,”shares Sara.

Sara Simmons single-handedly wrote all of the tracks. Song
selections include, “Sauced,” the ultimate sassy brush-off of a
perpetual cheater, the heart-wrenching “My Father’s Daughter” and the
crying steel guitar inspirational, “Get Right With Jesus,” along with a
Diana Krall jazz inspired, Texas swing combo on “Tell Me When.” The
tracks feature some of the most respected musicians in Nashville, Kevin
Key, Tim Gallaway, Mike Johnson, Aubrey Haynie, Gregg Lohman, Patrick
Bubert and Toby Caldwell. 

Sara Simmons music appeals to a wide audience with crowds covering
all generations. “She is so sweet,” states NACMAI Radio Station of the
Year award winner Scott Wikle. And her song “Sauced” is catchy with a
great hook line, ‘I found Jesus and you’re still sauced.’ I call these kind of tunes Loretta Lynn attitude songs. It’s that don’t mess with me tone,” continues Wikle.

Sara Simmons has endured the rowdy honky tonks of Nashville,
becoming a popular performer at such legendary hot spots as The Station
Inn and 3rd & Lindsley.

Along with tours across the country and performances on the annual
