The Sandra Piller fan club has created a new music video to her song “Easy to Love” using images that are surprising and delighting viewers.
Now available on YouTube, the video showcases photography of animals happily nuzzling and cuddling with each other, including dogs, cats, birds, and horses, but also displays such unlikely couples as cats with dogs and birds with cats. “The reaction from people who see the video is almost always ‘awwwwww!'” says Piller. “It just makes me smile every time I see it.”
Calling themselves The Wild Bunch, the gathering of Sandra Piller fans worked together in completing the video to showcase one of the twelve songs on Piller’s “Days Like These” album which was released by Shady Hill Records (www.shadyhillrecords.com). This is the second fan-produced video for Piller and joins two official videos for songs from that album.
“Days Like These” is Sandra Piller’s third collection of what some people are calling “new country classic music.” Creating songs with some of Nashville’s most-respected writers, Piller’s material delves into many positive aspects of life: from joys and passions to wry observations on life and triumphs over adversity.
The album was produced by Jane Bach and “Cowboy” Jack Clement. Bach is a noted songwriter who has written hits for Reba McIntire, Jo Dee Messina and others. Clement’s credits include Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, and Jerry Lee Lewis.
Sandra Piller is honoring the roots of country music while forging her own way with tunes and turns of phrase that have caused some people to say “she’s not your father’s country singer.” Mixing a country soul with an urban sensibility, she moves through her life and her music with unrelenting optimism that is contagious.
