Russellmania Hits Nashville: Russell Dickerson Announces “Nash-Birthday Bash” at Ascend Amphitheater

By Christian Lamitschka for Country Music News International Magazine

The “RD Party” is officially coming home. Multi-Platinum powerhouse Russell Dickerson is set to turn his hometown into ground zero for his biggest celebration yet. On May 8, 2026, the country star will take over Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater for the “Nash-Birthday Bash”—a high-octane homecoming timed perfectly to celebrate his birthday with a few thousand of his closest fans.

Promising a night of “cakes, candles, and carnage,” Dickerson isn’t celebrating alone. The birthday blowout features a stacked lineup of special guests, including Tyler Hubbard, Adrien Nunez, and Kevin Powers.

The Road to Russellmania 2026

While the Nashville bash is the crown jewel of his spring schedule, Dickerson is currently operating at full throttle. He is fresh off a run of marquee international and domestic festival appearances, including:

  • C2C: Country to Country: Stops in Glasgow, London, and Belfast.

  • RODEOHOUSTON

  • Tortuga Music Festival

  • The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo

This momentum serves as the launchpad for his RUSSELLMANIA TOUR 2026, which officially kicks off on April 23 in Raleigh, NC. This year’s tour represents Dickerson’s most ambitious chapter to date, moving into amphitheaters and the largest headlining venues of his career. As PEOPLE Magazine aptly noted: “Seriously, if the tour wasn’t already named Russellmania, everybody else would be calling it that anyway.”

New Music: From High-Octane to Heartfelt

Beyond the pyrotechnics and stage jumps, Dickerson is showcasing a more vulnerable side of his artistry. This Friday, he releases “The Roses,” an intimate, piano-driven love story. Written alongside industry heavyweights Michael Hardy (HARDY), Chase McGill, and Jordan Schmidt, the track features Dickerson himself front and center on the piano.

The song captures a “nuanced vocal range” rarely seen in high-energy radio hits, focusing on the fulfillment found in deep, committed connection.

Meanwhile, his current single “Worth Your Wild” continues to climb, marking his 10th career single to reach the Billboard and Mediabase Country Charts—a testament to his status as one of the most consistent hitmakers in the genre today.

About the Artist: The Chart-Topping Powerhouse

Russell Dickerson has built a career on the rare combination of high-energy showmanship and “heart-on-sleeve” sincerity. Since bursting onto the scene, he has accumulated nearly 4 billion career streams and a trophy case full of Platinum certifications.

The “Big Five” No. 1 Hits:

Song Title Certification
“Yours” 3X Platinum
“Blue Tacoma” 2X Platinum
“Love You Like I Used To” 2X Platinum
“She Likes It” (with Jake Scott) 2X Platinum
“Every Little Thing” Platinum

His fourth studio album, FAMOUS BACK HOME, serves as the foundation for his current tour. The project, led by the Platinum single “Happen to Me,” is a sonic fusion of country-soul, ‘80s rock, and modern pop. It highlights the dual nature of Dickerson’s life: the fiery, world-traveling performer and the grounded, happy family man.

“Dickerson’s rise has been fueled by inspiration drawn from his happy home life… delivering sonic swagger while showcasing signature sincerity.”

With 2026 shaping up to be his biggest year yet, the “Nash-Birthday Bash” is more than just a concert—it’s a victory lap for an artist who has truly become famous back home.
