Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out Top 2011 Year-End and 2012 January Charts
Fans of Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out will want to tune into the “Best of Bluegrass” on Radio Bluegrass International (RBI) Friday, January 6, 2012 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM (EST) when host Bob Mitchell interviews Russell Moore and Steve Dilling. The show airs online at the International Bluegrass Music Museum’s website where the organization hosts a free 24/7 online radio station. Listeners in the Owensboro, Kentucky area can also hear Russell and Steve this Sunday, January 8 on WKWC FM 90.3 from 6:00 to 8:00 am (CST).
PRIME TYME by Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out was released only a few short months ago making its debut at #8 on Billboard Magazine’s Top 10 Bluegrass Album Chart. The album landed on numerous year-end charts including: Bluegrass Today’s Top Twelve Albums in Bluegrass Music of 2011; WNCW Radio’s Top 50 Bluegrass Albums of 2011; and the Roots Music Report’s Top 100 Bluegrass Albums of 2011.
It was just last month when the band set a new chart record when four tracks from PRIME TYME appeared on Bluegrass Music Profiles Top 30 Hot Singles chart – the first time ever the monthly chart included that many singles from the same artist.
