AS THIS YEARS FEATURED PERFORMER
We have tried for several years to have Rhonda Vincent & The Rage perform for our annual R.O.P.E. Awards Show, and this year we have been rewarded by Rhonda accepting our invitation to be our featured artist for October 6, 2011 at the Al Menah’s Shriner’s Temple. The excitement of knowing that we will be entertained by one of country and bluegrass music’s premier superstars is great news for all of our R.O.P.E. members, and for her fans.Rhonda & The Rage are the most celebrated band in bluegrass with over seventy awards in such a short period of time. She has been honored with the coveted Entertainer of the Year Award from the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA), and has won the IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year Award seven consecutive times.
In 2001 Rhonda signed a high-profile endorsement contract with Martha White baking products to follow in the footsteps of the company’s first sponsored bluegrass icons, Flatt and Scruggs. She carries the torch of Martha White as far and wide as anyone could have ever envisioned. She has surrounded herself with one of bluegrass’s elite bands.
