About Rick Stanley:
From the small town of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee. He grew up singing in church with his mother & Grandmother. Started playing country music in 1977 after seeing the Wright Brothers Overland Stage Company perform. Started writing songs around 1977 and have written several hundred songs and continues to write songs. Had several bands through the years, The Cardboard Cowboy Band, The Bandit Band, Shotgun and finally Lookout Mountain. Lookout Mountain was extremely successful in Germany. They were fortunate to be the supplemental music for big name country artists performing in Europe. Chris LeDoux, Martina McBride, The Bellamy Brothers, Charlie Daniels Band & many others. Lookout Mountain was sponsored by Jack Daniels for 9 years. Lookout Mountain released an album in 1998 titled “Country Ambassadors” that did extremely well in Europe. Most of his music is strictly online now. He continues to write songs and have a continuing musical presence on YouTube with his “Couch Concerts”. Music is his passion…
