REVIVER RECORDS ADDS LANDRUM TO ROSTER
ON RADIO TOUR NOW, NEW MUSIC SLATED FOR 2015
NASHVILLE,
Tenn. (December 11, 2014) – Reviver Records is quickly building one of
the most talked about rosters in the music business and that lineup adds
more star power with the announcement that singer-songwriter Samantha
Landrum will be added to the roster of the Nashville offices, with an
upcoming single, “I’ll Still Need Your Shoulder,” being slated for a
nationwide release in early 2015.
“Samantha
brings a unique talent to our brand,” said David Ross, President and
CEO / Reviver Records, in announcing her signing. “The entire team is
excited about bringing her music to the forefront of the music industry
and to lead the Samantha Landrum charge at radio. We truly think that
Samantha has the talent, drive, and determination to become one of the
industry’s most respected female vocalists. We can’t wait to be a part
of that story.”
Born
in Laurel, Mississippi, Landrum began her musical journey by performing
at her family’s business – The Landrum Homestead & Village – a
recreation of a late 1800s settlement, with over seventy buildings on
thirty acres. She recalls that it was a concert experience at a Keith
Urban / Carrie Underwood concert when she was thirteen that made her
decide that she wanted to pursue a career in the music business. She has
competed in the prestigious Colgate Country Showdown Regionals at
Nashville’s Wildhorse Saloon.
The
twenty-year old phenom has already dazzled at radio with her singles
“Hometown” (the title track of her first release – issued through the
New York branch of the label) and “Light A Candle,” both of which were
prominently featured on SiriusXM’s “The Highway” channel and SiriusXM
holiday channel respectively. With her photogenic looks and charisma,
she also is a natural for the camera, as well. Her video for “Hometown”
made an undeniable impact, topping the playlist of CMT’s 12 PACK for
three straight weeks!
Landrum’s
latest release for Reviver is the brand new Christmas single “Light A
Candle.” She is currently in the midst of promoting her forthcoming
single, “I’ll Still Need Your Shoulder,” planned for release in 2015,
while visiting stations on her current radio tour to introduce herself
to programmers across the country. Landrum will give Nashville audiences
a taste of her live show on December 11 at The Stomp Concert Series at
Soulshine Pizza Factory.
