Country music’s rising stars, Restless Road, have once again captivated listeners with their latest release, “Last Thing I Deserve.” This deeply personal track, co-written with Trannie Anderson and Lindsay Rimes, serves as a heartfelt ode to their significant others, celebrating the unwavering support and transformative love that has shaped them into the men they are today.

“We were inspired to write ‘Last Thing I Deserve’ by our significant others,” the trio shared, reflecting on the song’s genesis. “They’ve loved us through every twist and turn we’ve faced in our lives, and we’ve grown into the men we are today with their help. We want to make sure they know how grateful we are for them and hope that when our fans hear this they keep their special people in mind.” This genuine sentiment shines through in every note of the song, making it a relatable anthem for anyone who has found their rock in a loving partner.

“Last Thing I Deserve” marks Restless Road’s third release this year, following the success of “Goin’ Out Like That,” which dropped in March. Co-written by the band with Zach Abend and Jon Nite, the earlier upbeat track quickly garnered critical acclaim, with American Songwriter hailing it as “a staple for summer nights across the country” and All Country News praising it as “their most confident and electrifying track to date.” The consistent output of high-quality music underscores the band’s burgeoning momentum and their commitment to delivering fresh, impactful content to their growing fanbase.

Redefining Modern Country: On the Road and Beyond

Restless Road is currently halfway through their successful “Goin’ Out Like That Tour,” captivating audiences across the nation. With nine more stops on their headline run, featuring special guest Kelsey Hart, the trio is set to bring their electrifying live performance to major cities including New York City and Chicago. The tour, which runs through May, continues to see sell-outs nationwide, a clear testament to their rapidly expanding popularity and the undeniable appeal of their live show. Following a packed-out performance at the iconic Troubadour in Los Angeles, All Country News lauded the band, stating that they are “redefining the sound of modern country with heart, harmony and a whole lot of grit.”

This nationwide headlining tour is further solidifying Restless Road’s position as a mainstay country trio. Having already been recognized as one of Spotify’s Hot Country Artists To Watch and Opry’s NextStage Artists, the 2x ACM Award nominees are now looking forward to an even more exciting 2025, promising more new music and extensive touring.

Comprised of three distinct yet complementary voices – Zach Beeken, Garrett Nichols, and Colton Pack – Restless Road has been praised by Wide Open Country as “one of the most intriguing and exciting acts of the year.” Their powerhouse harmonies and soul-baring lyrics have resonated deeply with listeners, accumulating over 375 million cumulative career streams and amassing a formidable following of over 5 million across their social media platforms. As NBC’s TODAY host Hoda Kotb succinctly put it, “That harmony…you feel it in your soul.”

A “Last Rodeo” and a Future on the Horizon

The band’s impressive trajectory gained significant momentum in 2023 with the release of their highly anticipated debut album, Last Rodeo. This 18-track album features buzzworthy songs such as the title track “Last Rodeo,” “I Don’t Wanna Be That Guy,” “Sundown Somewhere,” “On My Way,” their SiriusXM The Highway No. 1 hit “Growing Old With You,” and the fan favorite “Bar Friends.”

In 2024, Restless Road embarked on their headline “Last Rodeo Tour,” selling out iconic venues like New York City’s Gramercy Theater, Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl, and London’s Lafayette. They also made a significant impact at the U.K.’s C2C: Country to Country Music Festival. The band recently wrapped a successful run on the road with Brett Young and returned to the U.K. and Europe for their own headline tour at the end of 2024, further expanding their international reach. Their extensive touring history also includes successful stints with country heavyweights such as Kane Brown, Russell Dickerson, Tim McGraw, and Cole Swindell, alongside appearances at major festivals like Stagecoach and CMA Fest.

Beyond the stage, Restless Road has graced national television, performing on ABC’s The Bachelor and being featured by prominent outlets such as CMT, EXTRA, and TODAY. With all signs indicating Restless Road as a strong contender for best new vocal group, Zach, Garrett, and Colton continue to write, sing, and perform together, confidently taking their next steps down country music’s long and winding road. “Last Thing I Deserve” is not just a song; it’s a testament to their continued growth, their heartfelt artistry, and the deep appreciation they hold for the personal connections that fuel their journey.
