RAZZY BAILEY TO APPEAR ON LOWER BROADWAY TRADITIONAL COUNTRY MUSIC SHOW*
*NASHVILLE, TN, JULY 26, 2012:* Mr. *Razzy Bailey*, a singer whose style
blended country with blue-eyed soul, will make a special guest appearance
on the *Traditional Country Music Show* hosted by *Ross Key* (aka: Ross Key
Country
until 4:00pm at The National Underground located at 105 Broadway in
Nashville. The 4-hour show was created by *Ross Key*.
The show has been a
monthly mainstay at The National Underground since January 2012, growing
rapidly in popularity with tourists who come to Nashville expecting to hear
country music as it was always meant to be as it was sung by the legends.
Mr. Bailey has had many popular hits over the decades beginning in 1976,
when singer Dickey Lee hit number three with a cover of Bailey’s *9,999,999
Tears*. Lee hit the Top 20 with another of Bailey’s songs, *Peanut
Butter.*Bailey then signed a new recording contract of his own, and in
1978, he
released *What Time Do You Have to Be Back in Heaven*, the first of five
consecutive Top Ten hits. From mid-1980 until December 1981, Bailey reached
his peak with a string of five #1 hits including *Loving Up a Storm*, *I
Keep Coming Back*, *Friends*, *Midnight Hauler*, and *She Left Love All
Over Me.* In 1981, he was honored as Billboard magazine’s Country Singles
Artist of the Year.
Other up-and-coming special guests include the talented *Julie Taylor*,
and Alabama traditional country artists and songwriters, *Tim Hood* and *Gene
Payne*.
