RASCAL FLATTS SET FOR NATIONAL TV APPEARANCE ON
THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT TOMORROW
Nashville,
TN – June 22, 2016 – Superstar vocal group Rascal Flatts are marking
the beginning of their headlining tour with a national TV appearance to
perform their recent No. One single “I Like The Sound Of That” on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert tomorrow (6/23) at 10.35pm CT on CBS. The performance follows the first weekend of the trio’s RHYTHM AND ROOTS TOUR as Charlotte Observer declared “there’s
a reason why Rascal Flatts can still fill up concert venues…They have
this live performance bit down to a science without losing any of the
enthusiasm or the heart.” The trio are taking the opportunity during
their new tour to reconnect with fans, as they offer a change of pace
that sees the trio playing alongside longtime drummer Jim Riley and new
multi-instrumentalist Casey Brown, who with his keyboard and percussion
work adds drama and volume to the set.
The
best-selling country vocal group of the past decade Rascal Flatts has
sold over 23.1 million albums, over 31 million digital downloads
worldwide, as well as earning over 40 trophies from the ACAs, ACMs,
AMAs, CMAs, People’s Choice Awards and more, making them the most
awarded country group of the past decade.  The trio recently added to
their many accolades, scoring their 16th No. One single with their
summer anthem “I Like The Sound Of That”  and they will continue their RASCAL FLATTS: RHYTHM AND ROOTS TOUR  this
weekend which stops in Syracuse, NY (6/24), Cleveland, OH (6/25) and
Cincinnati, OH (6/26) where they will be joined by red-hot newcomers
