RACHEL DAMPIER SINGLE “STRONG HEART”

RACHEL DAMPIER’S NEW SINGLE, “STRONG HEART” CLIMBING POWER SOURCE MAGAZINE INSPIRATIONAL COUNTRY CHARTS
(Nashville, Tennessee) – June 24, 2013
Award-winning Vocalist and Songwriter Rachel Dampier recently made her debut on Inspirational Country Music Radio with her upcoming single, “Strong Heart.”  The single was released by HMG Nashville as a test run digital download for June, and debuted at # 77 and has  since
climbed to #61.  The actual single will not officially be released to
radio until July.  Inspirational Country radio consists of one thousand
radio stations with Christian, Country or both Christian and Country
music formats.
“Strong Heart,”
co-written by Rachel, is from her latest album “Resilient by Love.” It
is a song about a woman overcoming hard times, rising above her current
situation and desiring to leave an inspiring, Godly legacy.  Rachel
knows the theme well, having written her life’s ups and downs into many
of the album’s songs.  Strong Heart was inspired by Rachel’s struggle
and triumph over a heart-rhythm disorder, and for the American Heart
Association’s Go Red for Women, who later named Rachel a Spokesperson.

Rachel
was raised on the Florida-Alabama line in Bonifay, Florida. Though it
has only about three stoplights, Bonifay is a town fa
mous for rodeos
and home to the annual Gospel “Biggest All-Night Singing in the World.”
Rachel sang at that event, and often in church.  While growing up in
the Panhandle, other doors began to open for her to sing. Since
childhood, Rachel (S
aunders)
Dampier has written and performed music in churches, colleges and other
venues throughout the world.  Those venues include those in the US,
Europe, Middle East and China. A few highlights of her experience
include her performance on the ABC network and in a television series
with Cover Girl Cosmetics Model Jennifer O’Neill. She has opened for
major artists in Christian, Country and Pop music, and recently recorded
a duet on her latest album with American Idol finalist Ricky Braddy.
Her previous album, Vintage Gospel, garnered an Angel Award in 2008.
Rachel hopes that the new project will encourage people who listen to find the resilience that she has found from God. The
Resilient Tour is taking Rachel along the east coast to venues and
radio stations from New York City to Florida with international dates in
the works. Rachel is becoming known in the southeast United States for
her powerhouse vocal ability, heart-gripping lyrics and tireless
advocacy.
