Nu-Blu Inks New Long-Term Deal With Turnberry Records

Roots
music band Nu-Blu is pleased to announce they have just signed with
Turnberry Records. As the host of the premiere television program
“Bluegrass Ridge,” the award-winning Acoustic band will partner with the
California based label for distribution of their upcoming DVD, “The
Stories We Can Tell.” They will also collaborate with Turnberry on
upcoming music slated for release later this year.

“One
of the things we have already started to do is taking the Acoustic /
Bluegrass genre into a lot of places where it isn’t usually played, and
we’re starting to reach new audiences,” guitarist Daniel Routh
explained. “And that’s the same passion that Turnberry has, to get to
people who normally wouldn’t give it a first listen… we want to break
down the stereotypes.”

The
first product available through the newly announced partnership is the
new visual project, “The Stories We Can Tell.” The DVD provides
performances of 11 songs, plus additional behind-the-scenes and
interview footage. Also included will be a radio single that comes
exclusively with the DVD, a cover of the traditional Osborne Brothers
tune, “One Tear.” This is the first ever DVD released by Nu-Blu. Fans
can pre-order the project here.

“We
are honored to be collaborating with Nu-Blu on their new single, ‘One
Tear,’” said Turnberry Records CEO Keith Barnacastle. “It is a song that
we at Turnberry Records are excited about as it has that signature
bluegrass sound. Carolyn’s powerful vocals just set it apart from what’s
out on radio today.”

Nu-Blu’s
music has been featured in places such as the “CBS Sunday Morning,” the
Fox News Network, and has been experienced by fans in-person via
thousands of live shows performed at venues across North America and
beyond. Consisting of husband-and-wife members Daniel and Carolyn Routh,
Justin Harrison, and Zach McCracken, Nu-Blu also hosts the
nationally-syndicated “Bluegrass Ridge” television program, available
for viewing in over sixty million homes in the U.S. and abroad, plus
aired on networks including Heartland TV, The Family Channel, and more.
They also host the syndicated “Bluegrass Ridge Radio,” which has
featured some of the biggest artists in the genre since launching in
late 2018.
