come out of semi-retirement to bring bluegrass fans a brand new
Christmas single. “A Bluegrass Christmas Story” takes listeners on a
journey to a simpler time when all that mattered was a Christmas wish.
The song was written byJeff Rosewith the lead vocal performed by one of bluegrass music’s most beloved voices,Missy Armstrong.
Jeff Rose provides harmony vocals and plays the mandolin, bass, and
guitar on the track as well. Missy also provides a harmony vocal. Lloyd Douglas plays banjo, and Peter Knupferprovides the fiddle.
An unconfirmed rumor has it that Detour will be
recording new music at Mountain Fever Studios in the near future. That’s
a Christmas wish of many bluegrass fans!
