MOONLIGHT SOCIAL RELEASES “BEHIND THE MUSIC” MINI-DOCUMENTARY
Independent duo Moonlight Social has just released “Behind The Music: The Making of the MAKE YOU SMILE EP,” a 10-minute mini documentary featuring never-before-seen footage and interviews detailing the creation of their new Billboard-charting EP, MAKE YOU SMILE.
The duo, comprised of Jeremy Burchard and Jennica Scott, released the MAKE YOU SMILE EP on April 13, 2018. The 5-song record debuted on the Billboard charts
(Country Albums Sales and Heatseekers — South Central), a first for the
band originally from Austin, Texas and now based out of Nashville,
Tennessee.
Moonlight Social co-wrote all five songs on the EP along with a diverse
cast of collaborators, including Byron Hill (George Strait, Gary Allan),
indie pop darling Jenn Bostic, and Canadian country star Patricia
Conroy.
The new short film includes interviews with Scott and co-producers
Burchard and Derek Garten, as well as clips detailing some of the unique
approaches the team took to creating the completely independent
project. And of course, it includes some of the duo’s signature
irreverent humor (be advised, some mature language present).
