MO PITNEY LAUNCHES DEBUT ALBUM WITH CRITICAL ACCLAIM

12 SONG ALBUM REVEALS THE ARTIST BEHIND THIS GUITAR

NASHVILLE, TN (October 7th, 2016)– Curb Records recording artist Mo Pitney unveils Behind This Guitar, his debut album today, October 7.
Pitney, “one of the strongest male vocalists to come along in some time,” (Billboard) has been lauded as one of country music’s top newcomers by publications Rolling Stone Country,
NPR, The Huffington Post, Billboard and more.  Additionally, music from
the album prompted iHeart Radio personality Bobby Bones to include Mo
as one Who Will Blow Up In 2016
Mo
explains, “All I ever wanted to do in life was to simply write and play
songs for a living.  Today represents the start of a new journey for me
where I can share more of what’s in my mind and my heart.”  In addition to the “smooth country voice” (Taste of Country), Pitney, a proficient writer, co-penned 10 of the 12 tracks on the album. 
The “effortlessly authentic” (Huffington Post) singer
also has made quite a few fans at the world-famous Grand Ole Opry,
being selected for inclusion in their 9.0 series.  Pitney will be
celebrating the Opry’s birthday this Saturday, October 8th, headlining
the plaza show from 5 to 6pm, and appearing on both the early and late
editions of the event.

criss-crossed the nation celebrating the release with performances at
iconic venues including Nashville’s Bluebird Café and Station Inn, LA’s
Hotel Café and Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta.
