Time to Get #ROWDIE as Mitch Goudy Performs and Tee’s off for a Good Cause Benefiting Operation Troop Aid
Country Music Association’s ‘Who New to Watch’ 2014 artist Mitch Goudy is ready to Tee It Up for a great cause, performing and participating in a celebrity golf tournament benefiting Operation Troop Aid (OTA) Sunday and Monday, September 14 and 15, 2014.
“To
be a part of this event is such an honor,” states Mitch Goudy. “I met
Mark Woods, Founder/CEO of OTA earlier this year at Country Radio
Seminar and I admire everything he does for our U.S service members. I
wrote a very special song Dark Red in support of our troops and I’m looking forward to being a part of this and help make a difference!”
Mitch is just one of the celebrities to perform at the Tin Roof (1516 Demonbreun St/Nashville TN) Sunday, September 14th for the Tee ‘N’ It Up for Troop Aid Kickoff Concert.
Doors open 5:30pm, show starts at 6pm. This event, which is hosted by
Trailer Choir, is open to the public and tickets are just $10 in advance
or $15 at the door. Tickets are now available at the Tin Roof or by
calling 615-995-9316.
Mitch proves he is up to par by hitting the green the next morning (Monday, September 15th) for the Tee ‘N’ It Up for Troop Aid Celebrity Golf Tournament
at the Five Oaks Golf & Country Club (622 Five Oaks Blvd. / Lebanon
TN). Hosted by Larry Gatlin of the Gatlin Brothers, he is joined
alongside celebrities including Marty Roe (lead singer of Diamond Rio).
This day will be filled with fun, memories and honor in remembrance of
what our Troops have been through combating terrorism. To register for
the golf tournament, visit http://operationtroopaid.org/tour/tee-n-it-troop-aid.
Hailing
from the cornfields of southeast Iowa, Mitch grew up with a sense of
pride about who he is and a strong notion of what he believes. His
latest single, Ain’t My Fault, is getting great feedback by his
#ROWDIE fans along with industry personnel and radio stations. Folks
are calling him “the new Brad Paisley” and “one of country music’s
bright new stars.” You can view the official music video for this song
on VEVO, CMT.com and YouTube. This single is off his upcoming album, which will be released late October.
His
interest in country music began when he first picked up a guitar after
suffering a traumatic knee injury that would forever limit his ability
to play sports. His dad bought him that first guitar, put it in his
hands and said, “Let’s see what you can do.” At that moment, Mitch found
his passion and never gave up on it. Since then, he’s been rocking
stages large and small across the country.
