Miranda Lambert Scorches Sold-Out Stagecouch Festival Saturday Night
“ON FIRE” TOUR PLAYS SOLD-OUT NASHVILLE BRIDGESTONE ARENA MAY 19
NASHVILLE, TN – Miranda Lambert took her fiery live show to the
desert on Saturday night where she headlined a sold-out show for more
than 55,000 fans at the Stagecoach Festival. On her performance the Los
Angeles Times said, “The sassy Texas singer-songwriter headlined on
Saturday with a performance that firmly demonstrated why she’s become a
full-blown star. All the elements are clicking for her: fresh and
insightful songwriting, commanding stage presence and a wonderfully
distinctive voice, all working together in service of celebrating and
empowering the predominantly female crowd that makes up country’s core
audience.”
During her set, Miranda welcomed Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley,
a.k.a, the Pistol Annies to the stage for a few songs from their
critically acclaimed album, Heel On Heels. Of the trio, The Orange
County Register said, “Those three harmonize like few female voices
before them in modern country history; Like the early Dixie Chicks, the
Annies are as authentic in their portraits of everyday women and the
bastards who do ’em wrong, and their tunes are catchy as all-get-out…”
The “On Fire” Tour with Chris Young, Jerrod Niemann and some special
guest appearances from the Pistol Annies resumes in mid-May with a stop
in Nashville, TN on May 19 for a sold- out show at the Bridgestone
Arena. The tour has played to 25 sold-out venues this year. Miranda’s
show includes songs from all four of her #1 albums including her latest,
Four The Record and her top 5 single, “Over You,” which she wrote with
her husband Blake Shelton.
