It’s that time of year again – time to get ready for Manuel Day!
year on June 12, officially designated Manuel Day, Nashville gathers to
celebrate MANUEL and all he has done for Nashville. He is not only a
world renowned fashion designer, he is an artist and costumer.
clientele includes musical greats Johnny Cash, Elvis and Bob Dylan, to
name a few. His designs are true works of art, being featured in museums
nationwide, including the Smithsonian, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and
the Country Music Hall of Fame.
music stars, Manuel has also dressed presidents, athletes, dancers,
artists, and movie stars. His work has truly become a trademark of
year, Manuel is celebrating his day with his monthly charity event,
Music Loves Fashion, which features live music performances while
benefiting Special Olympics Tennessee.
Loves Fashion occurs once a month and is sponsored by Bright Star
International. Bright Star International is a non-profit organization
that teams up with celebrities to give them the tools necessary to raise
awareness for charitable causes close to their heart.
Manuel Day, June 12, Music Loves Fashion will include a speech
from Mayor, Karl Dean and a feature performance by country
singer-songwriter Frank Ortega, and all funds raised will go to benefit
Special Olympics Tennessee, a cause close to Manuel’s heart.
Manuel Day festivities will be hosted at Manuel Couture on 800 Broadway.
