To Perform At Nashville Event
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 28, 2015)—Lorrie Morgan,
one of the leading ladies in country music history, and her friends,
have stepped forward to organize a benefit concert for long time
industry veteran, friend and comrade in music,
Ms. Debbie Ballentine.
With
the loving support and strength from family and friends, Ballentine has
been bravely fighting her battle with cancer since Fall 2011. After
completing various treatments and courses of radiation therapy, results
have not been optimum; there is no cure for Ballentine’s condition. The
family’s medical bills incurred during her illness are insurmountable.
Lorrie Morgan, Vince Gill, Pam Tillis, Jesse Keith Whitley, Ashlee Hewitt,
TG Sheppard, Kelly Lang and Baillie and The Boys will donate their time and talents to support Ballentine at the I AM A WOMAN benefit concert in her honor. The charity event will be held at Silver Dollar Saloon (110 2nd Avenue North, Nashville, TN) on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person;
a limited quantity of PRE-SALE TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE NOW!
[VISIT: http://silverdollarsaloon.com/event.cfm?id=191432&cart.]  Tickets may also be purchased day-of-show beginning at 5 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
TV personality and Great American Country’s Top 20 Country Countdown’s
Nan Kelley will host.  More award-winning acts are being added daily (to be announced at a later date).
 “This
event is special for me; this lady is special to me.  She’s been my
lifeline for so many years; she knows me like no other,
” said Lorrie Morgan“There
is nothing that is fair or good about this horrible disease. It’s so
difficult to even think about what she has been going through…while we
all must continue on with own lives. Debbie is in our hearts, our
thoughts and our prayers as she lives day-to-day fighting this silent
killer.”

Autographed artist photos and VIP show laminates will be available for
purchase at the show. All proceeds from ticket and collectible item
sales will be dedicated to support Debbie to assist in alleviating her
financial burden while she fights to overcome her poor health.
