Multi-Award winning artist Lonnie Spiker’s latest offering is a 5 song EP of obscure and unreleased tracks. Never one to rest on his laurels, Lonnie has released a collection of tracks to hold his loyal fans over until his next full-length release.

Featuring two songs from his hard to find first album release, a third that was rerecorded from that session and two singles that never made it onto a Lonnie Spiker album this collection finds Lonnie staying true to form and also expanding that form a little bit.
Somebody Oughta Write a Song About That is a bouncy hopeful country song that the world could use a few more of these days. Everyday heroes and looking at the world from a better point of view.

You Handled it with Care is a ballad that shows Lonnie has a wide range of songs and styles just waiting to be heard. This song also is a hopeful song and with meaningful lyrics showing that despite the ways we have been broken everyone of us is mendable and has the capacity to help someone to mend.

I’ll Always Be There is a departure in style for Lonnie having a more modern flavor yet all the while maintaining the Lonnie Spiker sound. Yet here once again is another song with a positive message and a trust that the future will always be brighter than the past.

In fact the whole EP is filled with very positive messages in a world sorely needing a little empathy, compassion and hope.
