LoCash Cowboys’ Man v. Food Nation Challenge Airs June 8 on Travel Channel
NASHVILLE – In March, R&J Records artists LoCash Cowboys, the duo comprised of Chris Lucas and Preston Brust, brought their renowned charisma and big appetites to Rooster’s Texas Style BBQ in Nashville to tape a segment on the Travel Channel’s new series, Man v. Food Nation. On Wednesday, June 8, America will tune in to watch as the network’s beloved host, Adam Richman, guides the fast-rising country music stars through a 72-ounce steak challenge.
Airing at 9 PM EST / 8 PM CST, the duo will watch their televised challenge at an open-to-the-public viewing party at Rooster’s.

Man v. Food Nation evolved from the Travel Channel’s most popular program, Man v. Food, to give fans the chance to step up to the plate and take on local food challenges.
“It was a big steak but even bigger fun doing this challenge,” commented Preston.
Chris added, “Adam and the crew were absolutely great to work with and hang around. We had a blast.”

The LoCash Cowboys’ Man v. Food Nation segment coincides with the kick-off of 2011 CMA Music Festival. The duo makes numerous appearances that week including the 7th Annual CMA Music Festival Kick-Off Parade (6/8), a performance at the Musicians On Call benefit concert at Hard Rock Café (6/9), and a performance on the Chevrolet Riverfront Stage (6/12). On Tuesday, June 7 at Rocketown in Nashville, Chris and Preston will model fashions at Country Weekly’s 5th Annual Fashion Show, also benefiting Musicians On Call. The weekend of June 4-5, they will be featured on “The Crook & Chase Countdown” syndicated by Premiere Radio to more than 250 stations.
As announced during their Grand Ole Opry debut on May 7, LoCash Cowboys’ new up-tempo radio single, “You Got Me,” is set for a June 6 add date at country radio.
