Lindsay Lawler To Perform With Summerlin Road, Debut Single

Nashville, Tenn. (November 9th, 2012) – Truckload Carriers
Association (TCA) Highway Angel spokesperson and country recording
artist Lindsay Lawler is set to headline 12th and Porter along side
Warner/Chappell duo Summerlin Road on Wednesday, November 14th, 2012 at
7:30pm. The full-band show is just one of several performances Lawler
will be taking part in this holiday season – many of which revolve
around the TCA’s support of the Capitol Christmas Tree 2012, as well as
their work with Wreaths Across America.

The show, which will include several of Lawler’s originals, will also be her Nashville debut of new single Standing Tall.
Co-written with Chris Roberts, the song was recently featured during
the cutting down of this year’s Capitol Christmas Tree in Meeker,
Colorado on November 6th. Lawler will also be performing Standing Tall
at several of the Capitol Christmas Tree’s whistle stops on its way to
the capitol building in Washington DC, including the House of Blues in
Dallas on November 15th, Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on November
19th, and finally at the tree’s lighting ceremony on the Capitol lawn
and the Congressional Reception at the Native American Indian Museum in
Washington D.C. (date TBA).

“I am beyond honored to have had my song chosen by music icon Chuck
Leavell to honor Colorado’s beautiful tree and gift to our nation,” said
Lawler. “As the tree makes it’s way to Washington D.C., each ‘whistle
stop’ event has been so special to me, as well as to each city and
community the tree passes through. I hope our Nashville community will
come out to the showcase at 12th and Porter Wednesday where co-writer
Chris Roberts and I will perform “Standing Tall,” as well as to the
Nashville official whistle stop on Nov. 19th at Bridgestone.”
