LIFE GOES ON by Musicians Against Childhood Cancer® Debuts on Billboard’s Top 10 Bluegrass Album Chart

 

Album and Numerous Tracks are Candidates for Nomination for the
2012 International Bluegrass Music Association Awards

 

Nashville, TN (July 10, 2012) — Rural Rhythm Records is proud to announce the album LIFE GOES ON by the Musicians Against Childhood Cancer® (MACC) is #8 this week on Billboard Magazine’s Top 10 Bluegrass Album Chart. The album was recorded live during the annual MACC festivals from 2006 – 2011 with the exception of the first single release, “Life Goes On” that
was recorded at Randy Kohrs’ Slack Key Studio in Nashville, TN. The
label recently released a new video of the song that can be viewed on
the Musicians Against Childhood Cancer website BluegrassClassic.com

 

Yesterday, the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) released the second of three ballots for the 2012 IBMA awards and LIFE GOES ON plus numerous tracks are candidates for nomination  for
some of the top awards including Song of the Year, Album of the Year,
along with three in the Recorded Event of the Year category:

and Phyllis Adkins founded Musicians Against Childhood Cancer in honor
of their daughter, Mandy who lost her battle with cancer on November 25,
