NASHVILLE
– Curb recording artist Lee Brice was both
the giver and receiver of good news this morning as he announced the finalists
for the CMA Broadcast Awards during a CMA membership breakfast in Nashville. Following
the Nashville announcement, Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan announced
the nominees for “The 46th Annual CMA
Awards” via live stream from BB King Blues Club and Grill in New York City.
Brice was greeted with cheers from the Nashville audience as he received his very
first CMA Award nomination for New Artist of the Year.
The
CMA Broadcast Awards winners will be notified in mid-October and will be acknowledged
at “The 46th Annual CMA Awards,” to be held
Thursday, Nov. 1 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) and broadcast
live by the ABC Television Network from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood return to
host “Country Music’s Biggest Night™” for the fifth time.
