Nashville,
TN – July 28, 2016 – Multi-PLATINUM singer/songwriter Kip Moore was on
hand at the opening of a new skatepark in Cincinnati, OH yesterday as
part of his “Comeback Kid Skatepark Project.” The Warsaw Federal
Skatepark, a project of the Lower Price Hill Neighborhood Enhancement
Program, features a 35-foot-by-68-foot pump track, three grind rails and
a Hubba skate ledge. Kids in attendance were surprised with free
skateboards, helmets, knee pads, and backpacks filled with T-shirts and
socks.
“I’m
always searching for purpose in my life,” said Kip Moore. “I battle
the feeling of if I’m doing enough with the small amount of time I have
on this earth each day. I’m so blessed to get to do what I do, but I
have always believed with those blessings come responsibility. Days like
today give me that feeling of purpose. I get to see a direct impact in a
needed community. I get to see the smiles on these kid’s faces and the
positive impact it creates. There are so many things I wanna do in the
inner cities and this is just the beginning.”
The
“Comeback Kid Skatepark Project” is the first initiative of “Kip’s Kids
Fund,” a donor-advised fund through The Community Foundation of Middle
Tennessee (CFMT) focused on youth and teens. Other skatepark locations
include Nashville, TN; Boston, MA; San Marcos, TX; Annapolis, MD. For

A
constant road warrior, Moore is currently gearing up to headline
Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater next month, as part of “The Big 98’s
Annual Guitar-B-Que Benefitting St. Jude” and recently revealed dates
for his headlining ME AND MY KIND TOUR, which will see Moore visit
cities across the US and Canada through early December and includes
red-hot newcomer Jon Pardi. As Moore continues to be “met with more
deafening applause” (CMT) he is currently on the road for Miranda Lambert’s Keeper Of The Flame Tour. Hailed as a “career song” by Billboard,
Moore’s current single “Running For You” continues to climb the charts
and is taken from Moore’s critically acclaimed sophomore album WILD
ONES, that Taste of Country deems is “tailored
for his live show and the thousands of die-hard fans that pack theaters
several times each week to see him,” and Huffington Post declares
as “one heck of an album… set to produce hit after hit after hit.” WILD
ONES follows Moore’s debut album UP ALL NIGHT which was certified GOLD
by the RIAA and spawned three No. One hit singles including GOLD
certified “Beer Money,” PLATINUM certified “Hey Pretty Girl,” and the
DOUBLE PLATINUM breakout hit “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck.”
