COUNTRY ICON KENNY ROGERS TO HEADLINE 16TH ANNUAL CONCERT FOR CUMBERLAND HEIGHTS

“An Evening with Kenny Rogers” To Be Held at Ryman Auditorium on September 25, 2013,
to Raise Funds for the John Hiatt Fund for Adolescent Treatment

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – July 15, 2013 – Legendary singer-songwriter and 2013 Country Music Hall of Fame®

inductee Kenny Rogers will headline the 16th Annual Concert for Cumberland Heights on Wednesday, September 25, at 8 p.m. at the historic Ryman Auditorium.
Tickets for the Concert for Cumberland Heights Presents “An Evening
with Kenny Rogers” go on sale Friday, July 19, at 10 a.m. Tickets will
be available at all Ticketmaster outlets, the Ryman box office and www.ryman.com

“We
are honored that Kenny Rogers has signed on to support such an
important aspect of Cumberland Heights’ mission. This fund has helped
our adolescent services grow to be among the best in the country,” said
Jim Moore, Cumberland Heights CEO.

Proceeds from the concert will support the John Hiatt Fund for Adolescent Treatment at Cumberland Heights, designed
to help adolescents ages 14 to 18 and their families find the best way
to tackle the challenges they face and help support recovery. Cumberland
Heights offers young people residential, primary and extended care
treatment in addition to outpatient services.

“It
is with great excitement and appreciation that I’ve been given this
opportunity to perform in support of Cumberland Heights. This is
obviously a worthy cause, and I have so much admiration for John Hiatt’s
involvement and realization of the need for this program,” said Rogers.

“I
will actually do a song during the show written by John that I think
shows the kind of person he is and the heart he has. It’s appropriately
entitled ‘Have a Little Faith in Me.’ I simply want to do my share. I
look forward to seeing everyone there. Together we CAN make a
difference.”

In addition to tickets being on sale at the Ryman box office, a special online auction runs from July 19 – August 2 on the ticket page at www.ryman.com.
Rogers fans and Cumberland Heights supporters can bid on VIP packages
including front row tickets, meet and greet passes and signed Kenny
Rogers memorabilia. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the John
Hiatt Fund for Adolescent Treatment at Cumberland Heights.

Rogers will officially be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame® during the Medallion Ceremony in Nashville this October. In addition to his recent selection for inclusion in the Hall of Fame®, Rogers will celebrate the upcoming release of his novel, WHAT ARE THE CHANCES, co-written with Mike Blakely on September 3 and the paperback version of his New York Times Best Selling autobiography LUCK OR SOMETHING LIKE IT on September 24. His new album on Warner Bros. Records will also be released this fall.

The Concert for Cumberland Heights is anticipated to be a sellout,
and the historic Ryman Auditorium provides the perfect setting for a
special event that highlights the importance of providing compassionate
care for adolescents struggling with substance abuse. Since 1996, the
annual Concert for Cumberland Heights has raised nearly $2 million for
the John Hiatt Fund for Adolescent Treatment.
