Kenny Chesney “Come Over” 24th #1 Song

“Come Over” Tops Singles Charts For Kenny Chesney’s 24th #1 Song

NASHVILLE, TN – “Come Over,” one of the biggest songs of Kenny
Chesney’s career has topped the Country Singles Charts in only 11 weeks.
Recently cited as “One of this summer’s hottest songs” by NPR Morning
Edition, “Come Over,” is Chesney’s 24th career #1 single and was
certified Gold last week for digital sales in excess of 500,000.

“Come Over” is the second single from Chesney’s Welcome To The
Fishbowl album which has already yielded the Top 10 single, “Feel Like A
Rock Star,” featuring Tim McGraw. The two stars share the stage on the
‘Brothers of the Sun’ Tour, with Chesney and McGraw, which is one of the
biggest tours this summer.

The tour brought the biggest party of the year to the heartland this
past weekend starting with a Saturday show at Lucas Oil Stadium in
downtown Indianapolis. “This has been, over the years, an incredible
place for us to play music,” said Chesney. “Thank you guys for having us
back in this wonderful building tonight!”

On Sunday, nearly 50,000 strong came to celebrate at Brown Stadium in
Cleveland. “Whenever Cleveland is on the summer schedule, it’s this
moment I look forward to right here, being able to sing this song in
this town,” said Chesney as he introduced the # 1 single, “Anything But
Mine.” The crowd cheered a tribute to late local radio personality
Chuck Collier before “I Go Back,” and they cheered guitarist and local
boy Kenny Greenberg. “He plays like he’s from Cleveland, don’t he?”
Kenny asked. People cheered and The Dog Pound barked prompting Chesney
to say, “Cleveland, I hear you out there.”

The tour takes on a decidedly southern flavor next week as the
‘Brother of the Sun’ Tour, with Chesney and McGraw, makes its way to the
Big Easy with a play at the Superdome and then it’s on to Houston for a
Saturday show at Reliant Stadium.
