Keith Pereira’s new song will give you Goosebumps
By Alan Shipston for Country Music News International Magazine
Goosebumps, the latest single by Keith Pereira has all the right ingredients evoking the time-tested story of love that remains in our lives. This song is straight up and unashamedly country with its tender approach and tasteful instrumentation laying the foundation for Pereira’s captivating vocal. Keith sings with strong conviction as his clear, yet gentle voice rings out,
I get goosebumps every time I hear her song come in the car
From this moment it sounds like nothing without you singing your part
Your feet up on the dashboard
Going way too fast to slow down
“Goosebumps is an ode to those relationships in our lives that linger and leave lasting impressions on our hearts and minds”, says Pereira. Jangling acoustic guitars play through a traditional chord sequence as soaring electric and reverb laden dobro add the atmosphere. Written by Pereira and produced by Nic Manders, Goosebumps leaves a strong audible impression on the listener capturing the mood of the lyric. Manders adds, “I loved making this track with Keith. It’s a really great song and the end result feels genuine and authentic. Excited for it to get into people’s ears.”
