Newcomer KAYLA ADAMS Hosts Country Fix Feature Episodes Beginning Tonight
Debut Single Rises To #20 On
MusicRow Chart
Nashville, TN (November 24, 2014) – As her debut single “Sober & Sorry” breaks into the Top 20 on the MusicRow chart, newcomer KAYLA ADAMS’ Country Fix feature episodes begin airing tonight on the Heartland, Angel Two and AMG networks. The program will continue to broadcast, as indicated below, through Sunday, December 14.
Sundays – Angel Two 5:30 p.m. ET and AMG 5 p.m. ET
The new 30-minute program, shot and edited in HD, premiered in August on New Zealand’s Country TV
network and Kayla’s episodes ran there last month. In total, the
combined foreign and U.S. broadcast reach is over 60 million households. Country Fix features music videos, “behind the scenes” footage
and/or interviews with entertainers ranging from the up-and-coming to
the legendary. In each case, the shows are taped at various recording
studios and hosted by the artists themselves. Kayla was interviewed at SMS Recording Studios in
Hendersonville, TN; “in the can” episodes feature the music of Taylor
Swift, Keith Urban, The Band Perry, Jason Aldean, Willie Nelson, George
Strait and others. Plans are for an initial 52 episodes.
For Adams, the opportunity to showcase her debut music video, “Sober & Sorry,” to the show’s vast audience was “astounding.” The clip premiered globally on The Boot in September and generated enormous interest in the young star. During the month of October, Virgin Airlines featured her “Sober & Sorry”
video on flights to and from Australia, and on all domestic runs in the
U.S. The video remains in rotation on MTV.com, VH1.com, ZUUS Country,
Yallwire and CMT.com.
The
Country rocker has just wrapped a five-month long radio promotion tour
that will resume in 2015. Kayla is currently writing songs with
Nashville’s top tunesmiths for her debut CD on SSM Entertainment.
