Louisiana native and pop-country singer/songwriter Katie Austin reveals her inner ‘Wild Child’ with highly anticipated debut EP. The title track “Wild Child,” Austin offers fans a well-rounded
collection of songs in her debut. Produced by Matt McVaney (Kane Brown,
Jessie James Decker), the four-track EP features songs co-penned by

a drive that sets her apart from the status quo, Austin was a top five
finalist in the Folgers 2017 Jingle Contest which boasted thousands of
entries and earned her a mentoring session with Chris Young. Austin’s
debut 2017 single “Broken Record” landed her a shot at the 2017 NASH
Next competition sponsored by Cumulus Media and Big Machine Records, in
which she made it into the top ten finalists. She ended 2017 on a high
note when the music video for her original holiday song “Wrap Me Baby”
made its world premiere on CMT and was added into regular rotation on
the network and secured the No. 4 fan voted spot on the CMT Music 12 Pack Countdown.
Capitalizing on her momentum from 2017, Austin has dedicated 2018 to
