JOSH GRIDER ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM GOOD PEOPLE AVAILABLE MARCH 2ND
Nashville, TN — January 22, 2018— Country artist Josh Grider has announced his new full-length album GOOD PEOPLE, available worldwide beginning March 2nd. The anticipated 12-song release is Grider’s first album since 2015’s BROKEDOWN.
Grider co-wrote 10 of the 12 songs on the album along with a handful of collaborators, including James Slater (Tim McGraw, Jamey Johnson) and Bobby Hamrick (Wade Bowen, Lindsay Ell). Produced by Bobby Hamrick and recorded in Nashville and New Braunfels, TX, Good People also features legendary studio musicians Fred Eltringham, Audley Freed, Lloyd Maines and more — including a special vocal appearance from Grider’s wife, Kristi.
Grider released the album’s debut single “Good People” in late 2017. The “upbeat, sunny track” (Taste Of Country) immediately resonated with fans and critics alike. Wide Open Country called it “an undeniably catchy tune that packs all the right ingredients to please any country fan.”
Throughout the rest of the record, Grider offers a poignant portrait of
life in modern America, with songs that range from clever commentary on
current events to heartfelt ballads pulled from the pages of Grider’s
own relationships. The album finishes with the traditional gospel hymn
“God Be With You Till We Meet Again,” a personal family tribute.
“I hope people find hope in this record, “Grider says. “Times are tough
and the news is bad a lot of the time, but in spite of all that, life
goes on. In our personal day-to-day lives we have to deal with that bad
news, but there’s still a lot of joy and love and humor to be
experienced — and we can’t lose sight of that. I’d love it if these
songs helped remind folks of that.”
Grider also plans to do a special Facebook Live announcement for his fans on his Facebook page starting today at 10 a.m.
