On the surface, the story of Justin Moore has been told countless times before. Small town boy with big time dreams packs his entire life in the back of a U-Haul and drives to Nashville in search of a better life than the one he’s living. Jordan Moore, the artist who is making waves with his infectious new single “Hard at Quittin’” enjoyed a ’12 Pack’ of fun questions and answers with me.

 

Preshias: What artists might be in your play list?

Jordan: I have so many play lists but what I’ve been listening to most lately… Brothers Osborne, Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton, Brantley Gilbert, Parker McCollum, Jordan Davis.

 

Preshias: If you were to be left on a deserted island for one year and you could pick three albums to be there with you and couldn’t pick any of your own, what would you pick?

Jordan: “Pawn Shop” by Brothers Osborne, “Native” by One Republic, “Threat to Survival” by Shinedown.

 

Preshias: Please finish the sentence: I would love to have been there in musical history when ……..

Jordan: When the Wonders played Captain Geech & The Shrimp Shack Shooters in ‘Weekend at Party Pier’!

 

Preshias: If you could have dinner with George Washington or George Strait, which one would you chose and why?

Jordan: George Washington, He is a true patriot and founding father of this great country we live in.

 

Preshias: If you could be given credit for writing one song that has already been written, what would be your song?

Jordan: “Craving You” – Thomas Rhett

 

Preshias: Your house is on fire – all your family, children and pets are saved. By the trick of fate you are told you can run in and get one item to carry out, what will you save from the flames?

Jordan: The 1987 Paul Reed Smith guitar that belonged to my father.

 

Preshias: Which one of superman’s powers would you like to have?

Jordan: The ability to fly!

 

Preshias: If you could record or perform a song with another artist or group, (dead or alive) who would that “dream duet” be?

Jordan: Garth Brooks

 

Preshias: If you had a $10,000 gift card, where would you go to spend it?

Jordan: Cabela’s (I love to hunt, fish and camp!)

 

Preshias: If you could get a phone call from one person in the world right now (living or deceased) whom would you like to hear from?

Jordan: My daughter. Every time she calls, she makes me laugh!

 

Preshias: What has been your most memorable performance of your career?

Jordan: The MTV EXIT festival in Chang Mai, Thailand.

 

Preshias: I’ll let you be somebody else for a day. Who will it be?

Jordan: Zac Efron – my wife would thank me!
